You are Invited to Kendra Scott in SoHo, NYC!
In 2019 I was invited to a jewelry store for a private event, it was Kendra Scott in SoHo, NYC. I walked into the two-story store and headed downstairs. It was beautiful and bright. We had a stylist, and they had a section called the Color Bar. On the table there was a tray with beautiful stones in different colors. As we sipped champagne, we played with the different color combinations stones to create our new necklaces. I had such a great time. After I created my necklace, I looked around and started to pick out some earrings and bracelets. The price points were great for the quality. In addition to their customization and costume jewelry they have beautiful fine jewelry too. I ended up shopping and buying a few pieces.
I liked the brand so much that I would visit often since it was close to my old job. Right before lockdown I was planning a birthday dinner and decided to treat myself and bought some more pieces. Then the world shut down, fast forward to this summer and I had another event and I thought I want to buy some new pieces. I had an associate who was assisting me with a piece I wanted, and she texted me that she wouldn’t be in and connected me to the general manager. When I went in to get my new piece, we ended up chatting and I told her how I discovered the brand through the event and how much I loved it. I told her about my blog, and we decided to host an event.
So, this Thursday, I am collaborating with the brand to host a virtual and in-store shopping event but with a twist, 20% of the sales will go to Friends of Puerto Rico. Friends of Puerto Rico supports the economic development of the Puerto Rican people through entrepreneurial initiatives, education, and creating opportunities for women and girls.
We will have styling services, customization, a little champagne, and treats.
